A group of film enthusiasts working with the local cinema operator in Warwick, Queensland, organised this one-off film festival consisting of five films (ranging from Gone with the Wind to The Blues Brothers!).

The Design Group supported this project by designing an A4 handbill to promote the event. The handbill included a promotional photo and a short write up about each film.

Because the project was being run with volunteer labour on a shoestring budget, the handbill was designed to utilise only one colour. However, the typography, layout and use of screen tints have produced a visually appealing piece of work which attracted favourable comment.
